- 🔚 End Cap
- A single shelf mounted on the end panel of a bookcase, facing the aisle perpendicularly — like a cap on the end of a row
- 📚 Case
- One bookcase unit — a single column of shelves within a larger row. An aisle may have many cases side by side
- ↔️ Center
- The main aisle running the full length of the floor, dividing it into East and West halves
🧭 Finding Your Way
- ⬆️ North
- The front of the building — the stairwell wall and the Lafayette Blvd. entrance
- ⬇️ South
- The back of the building — the rear wall where the elevator is
- ⬅️ West
- The 5th Street side of the building
- ➡️ East
- The parking lot side of the building
The words Front, Rear, East, and West may appear in the Room/Description column of the directory to help pinpoint where on a floor a section is located.
What This Does Not Do
This directory does not search for specific books, titles, or authors. It only shows where subject categories are located in the store. To find a specific book, ask a staff member in person.
